GENERAL POLICIES
Dress Code
Suits that provide full coverage for all private areas are required when participating in all Cannonball Academy lessons and classes. Suits must be tied, or fitted tight enough, to not be displaced during instruction. Thermal suits are required for children 9 months - 2 years of age. Thermal suits are recommended for any child or adult that has trouble maintaining a safe core temperature of 97.5 to 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit. Goggles are required for lessons and classes (with the exception for Baby & Best Friend classes).
Conduct
No filming or photos are allowed without consent from the coach. Any guardians accompanying the student must be seated away from the edge of the pool during the lesson. We ask that they remain quiet and calm. Physical aggression, verbal aggression, or inappropriate language directed toward coach, students, staff, or guests will not be tolerated. The coach has the right to end lessons or classes for that student if any of these terms are not followed. NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.
Risk and Permissions
You acknowledge knowing the recommended pediatric standard for water temperature and exposure time. For the Baby and Best Friend lessons, you give consent for the guardian and child/children to enter the water, fully knowing the water is under 89.6 degrees Fahrenheit and the exposure time is longer than recommended by pediatric standards.
Communication
You have consented to receive emails from Cannonball Swimming Academy as it relates to your lessons, classes, and enrollment. You can opt out of these by updating your profile in the Customer Portal.
HOSTING FEE
In order to purchase and participate in individual lessons or group classes, each student must also pay a Hosting Fee to Corbin Wellness Center at the beginning of each lesson. The $5 Hosting Fee is due at the front desk for each student when you attend each class.
EEach monthly membership reserves a consistent weekly lesson or class on the same day and time.
Weekly 30-minute lesson for $32.50 per lesson
Weekly 60-minute class for $65 per lesson
Monthly membership fees are based on the number of scheduled lessons or classes each month (i.e. 4 or 5 weeks). Prorated pricing will apply if you begin mid-month.
Memberships renew automatically on the 1st of each month, ensuring the swimmer’s spot for the following month as long as the membership remains active. Please select Store new payment method and Opt-In to Recurring Billing. Failure of payment in 48 hours will result in automatic membership cancellation. If you have outstanding unpaid invoices, you will not be allowed to register for new lessons or classes.
MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS
Cancellations by Cannonball
If a coach cannot teach a lesson for any reason, another qualified coach may substitute so the lesson/class can continue as scheduled.
If a lesson/class is canceled due to coach absence, facility closure, or inclement weather, you will receive a credit to your account for that lesson only. Cancellations will be communicated by email and the online portal.
Cancellations by the Student
Because each lesson time is reserved exclusively for the swimmer, missed lessons will not be rescheduled or refunded for any reason. You may alert your coach via in-person, email, or client portal about future absences but no refund/credit will be given.
Membership Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your membership, please submit your cancellation request via email or online portal at least seven (7) business days before the next billing cycle (1st of the month). Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid month. Per special cases, there is a 90 day limitation to refund lessons onto your original payment.
Credits
All Cannonball credits on accounts will be automatically applied to the next month's payment. If Cannonball Swimming Academy permanently ceases operations, any unused account credits will be refunded to the original payment method whenever possible. If the original payment method is no longer available, Cannonball will work with the account holder to issue the refund by an alternative method.
